FAQ: Lipstick Charts

We launched our lipstick charts in 2025 to help our clients shop suitable lipsticks for their seasonal subtype.
These charts are included as part of Gold and Platinum packages. They can also be selected as the one additional chart on the Premium package or one of the two additional charts on the Supreme package.
FAQ Lipstick Charts
In this article, we will answer some frequently asked questions in relation to our lipstick chart range. These are divided into general, content and shopping to help you locate your answer.

How much are the lipstick charts?
Lipstick charts are priced at £14.99 [GBP]. Due to digital download tax, this price will reflect higher. On Etsy, for example, they have recalculated this price at £17.99 [GBP]. We do not receive this additional £3 [GBP]. Prices may also vary based on conversion rates depending on your location.
Lipsticks charts are also included with some packages at a 50% discount:
*You may select one colour, one hair, one lipstick or one eyeshadow as part of your Premium package
**You may select any two of the following charts as part of your Supreme package: colour, hair, lipstick or eyeshadow
Are lipstick products included personalised to myself?
The products recommended in the chart are generic to everyone with similar colouring to yourself. For personalised advice, we advise purchasing a Gold or Platinum package to receive six personalised lipstick recommendations alongside other makeup product advice.
What is the price range of the products and which brands are included?
The products on each lip chart range from £5 [GBP] to £40 [GBP]. Brands vary by chart but we have tried where possible to include a variety carried by Target to make this accessible for our core market. Many charts therefore include budget products from brands such as Colourpop, Mac, Maybelline, Revlon, Rimmel and NYX Professional Cosmetics. However, we have also included some luxury labels such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Lancome, Laura Mercier, Gucci and Guerlain.
Does the chart only contain lipstick products?
Depending on the seasonal subtype, some charts include lip gloss products in addition to lipsticks. Bright seasons such as Spring and Winter need shine so these products are recommended to them.
I only wear matte/satin/gloss. Will all of the swatches be relevant to me?
Most seasonal subtypes can wear satin finishes but, where gloss products are reserved for bright seasons, muted individuals need matte, powder and velvet products. If you are unsure of your seasonal subtype, we recommend purchasing a Gold or Platinum package to receive six personalised lipstick recommendations with finishes.
Where can I shop the products?
Many of the products on your chart will be available to shop through the brand themselves as well as larger retailers such as Amazon, Target and Sephora. If you're struggling to locate a product on your chart, please send an email to hello@bonnystyling.com with your order number and a stylist will be happy to find a link for you. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for products going out of stock but will be happy to suggest an alternative.

How do I find out my season and subtype?
We have a range of resources on our website and social media to help you find your season and subtype. However, it is difficult to be subjective when assessing your own colours so we always recommend a virtual Colour Analysis with one of our stylists. Gold and Platinum packages include makeup advice with six lipsticks alongside other products.
I only want to know the red/orange/pink/purple lipsticks. How can I find these out without purchasing the full chart?
Read the lipstick post on your subtype's blog for generic recommendations for these specific colours. Alternatively, you can purchase a Gold or Platinum package to receive six personalised lipstick recommendations.
Where can I buy my chart?
Lipstick charts are available to purchase from our store or Etsy. Please ensure you select the correct season and subtype before checking out as we are unable to exchange digital downloads.
Why are the swatches identical?
The swatches are derived from colour samples of the product. Results may vary and differ depending on your unique colouring. This is why we recommend purchasing a Gold or Platinum package to receive six personalised lipstick recommendations.
Do you offer any discounted bundles for additional lipstick charts or other products?
You can shop lipstick and eyeshadow bundles with a preset 50% off via Etsy. Simply add both products to your basket and checkout to qualify. Alternatively, if you would like to buy a lipstick chart for your seasonal subtype as well as that you flow towards, please contact us for a discount code.
