Our seasonal subtype colours charts were initially launched in line with our virtual services in 2020 and were recently redesigned as part of our product rebrand for 2025.
These charts are included as part of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum packages. They can also be selected as the one additional chart on the Premium package or one of the two additional charts on the Supreme package.

In this article, we will answer some frequently asked questions in relation to our colour chart range. These are divided into general, colour content and shopping to help you locate your answer.
For questions related to hair charts, lipstick charts and eyeshadow charts, please see the links to these separate articles.
If your question is not covered, please email us at hello@bonnystyling.com and a stylist will aim to reply within 48hrs during our working days.
Colours
How many metals are included?
Metallics are matched to the Pantone TPM system and quantities differ per seasonal subtype. This is due to neutral subtypes having the ability to wear both cool and warm metals as well as those with moderate contrast levels allowing for light and deep variations. The quantities are as follows:
How many neutrals are included?
Neutrals are matched to the Pantone TCX system. Twelve neutrals are included for the colour charts of all twelve subtypes.
How many accents are included?
Accents are also matched to the Pantone TCX system. 65 accents are included for the colour charts of all twelve subtypes.
How is the colour chart organised?
Each colour is labelled with its Pantone TPM or TCX name with the colour reference number and hex code below.
You will find your metallics at the top of page two followed by your 12 neutrals in the centre. The first 18 accents are at the bottom of this page with the remaining 47 on page three.
Where metals and neutrals are both organised light to dark, accents are arranged warm to cool from left to right as well as dark to light from top to bottom. This allows you to select effective colour combinations in line with your seasonal subtype's contrast level.
Do you offer physical colour fans?
In order to best serve our global market, all of our products are digital resources. We can recommend physical products from other retailers for the four main seasons. However, these colours are generic and will not necessarily match the colours on our charts or your digital Personalised Palette, which is included with all packages.
General
How much do the colour charts cost?
All of our charts, including colour, are listed on our website store at £14.99 [GBP]. We have also listed these on Etsy at the same price but, due to their digital download tax, they sell at £17.99 [GBP]. Please note, we do not receive the additional £3.00 [GBP].
If colour charts are purchased as part of a package, they are each subject to a 50% discount. Please note, the values below reflect the price of the included charts on the package only.

Gold One colour, one lipstick and one eyeshadow at £22.49 [GBP]
Platinum One colour, one hair, one lipstick and one eyeshadow at £29.98 [GBP]
*You may select one colour, one hair, one lipstick or one eyeshadow as part of your Premium package
*You may select any two of the following charts as part of your Supreme package: colour, hair, lipstick or eyeshadow
Are the colours on the chart personalised to me specifically?
All of our charts (including colour, hair, lipstick and eyeshadow) are generic to individuals with colouring similar to yours. This means not every colour will be harmonious, which is why we include a Personalised Palette with every Colour Analysis package so your stylist can select 27 of the best colours for you.
How do I shop the colours on my colour chart?
Pantone TPM and TCX systems provide a universal colour language, making it easy to identify shades without confusion. However, not all designers and retailers adhere to this system, so matching the colours may take some trial and error.
We recommend shopping in person rather than online, as digital images can differ from actual products. You can download your colour chart to your device and compare it directly with garments in-store. The match doesn’t need to be exact, but the colour should blend harmoniously rather than clash.
Fashion trends change yearly, so your ideal shades may not always be in style. Shopping at thrift or charity stores can be a great option, as they often carry colours from past seasons.
What do the colour codes on the charts correspond to?
If you have purchased a colour analysis package, you will receive a personalised palette of 27 colours specially selected from your seasonal subtype's colour chart. These colours have a code attached to them which can be used to cross reference the colour chart. This allows you to see the colour's position on the chart and aid you in selecting appropriate combinations.
Do colour charts have to be purchased as part of a package?
Colour charts are available to shop separately in the store, which is useful if you already know your seasonal subtype and want to explore your palette further. However, these are sold at full retail price whereas they are subject to a 50% discount when purchased as part of a package. We recommend purchasing as part of a package for individuals who have not yet discovered their seasonal subtype as this allows them access to an extended range of resources.
Can I share the colour chart with my friends?
The colour charts are licensed for personal use. Distribution and editing is strictly prohibited.
I'm a colour stylist and want blank templates for my own business. Can you share these?
We are currently working on a range of stylist tools, which will be available to purchase and edit using Canva. More information will be published when these are on sale. Due to demand, we are unable to grant permissions for collaboration. This includes businesses wishing to translate the colour charts into other languages.
